The Embroidered Egg Details Die is Back In Stock!

Good morning, friends. I have great news! Our shipment of dies has just arrived, so the Embroidered Egg Details Die is back in stock! To celebrate, I have a pair of cards to share with you today. I've had this idea in mind since the moment I designed the die, so it was a joy to finally make it happen.

When designing this die, I wanted it to be able to do double duty on felt and paper projects. So I specifically laid out the pattern so that you could use it to create a focal point on a card entirely on its own - no Basic Egg Die necessary.

On this card I've used white cardstock and multicolor thread. I love how the pretty pastel threads look against the crisp white.

I've added crystals in some of the spaces where I might have sewn on beads if this were a felt project. You could also use pearls, enamel dots, or small die cuts if you wanted to dress things up.

Honestly, the monochromatic version is super striking, too. I can't decide which I love more! I can tell you that I'll be making more of both of them though.

I chose not to stamp a sentiment on the front of these cards, letting the embroidery truly take center stage. You could certainly add one though, or even stamp or print a greeting on the inside of your card to keep the front cleaner.

I'm so glad I finally sat down to make these! Sometimes I have more ideas than time, but these cards were well worth the effort. They were easy and took very few supplies to make.
