Teacher Appreciation Gift Set

Hello, everyone! Happy Earth Day! I just wanted to pop in super quickly and share a card and gift tag set I made for Teacher Appreciation week (it's May 6-10th this year). I figured it would probably sneak up on me if I didn't get a jump on things and I thought some of you might be in the same boat.

I used Autumn Apple and the Pocket Tag to create this simple set. These came together so fast and I love how they turned out!

I cut all of the parts from solid cardstock, but patterned paper would also be really cute. I didn't use the pocket part of the tag and rather than stitching around the perimeter twice (for a solid line), I just went around once for a charming homespun detail. The apple was easy to attach to the tag with foam tape.

To get the sliced apple look on the card, I die cut an extra large apple shape and trimmed it in half. Then I simply stitched it over the top of the innards. I stamped a greeting on a card base and then attached the apple to the card with foam tape.

These are so simple, but I think the stitching gives them such a lovely texture. If you're looking for a quick way to thank your favorite teacher this set is a great option!

Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a great week everyone!
