Spring Bells And Lots of Updates
Good afternoon! I wanted to pop in today to share a new project and a few updates. Let's start with the news.
We've received several questions about whether or not we are going to be restocking dies or having a spring release sometime soon. The answer is yes, but we don't have definite timelines for either right now. Unfortunately, we have recently experienced a very unexpected disruption in our die manufacturing. We're still working through that, but we should be back to regular restocks very soon. We appreciate your patience with us as we manage this process.
I promise that we want to get everything back in stock just as badly as you do. We will be sure to make an announcement about any new releases as soon as we have dates to share, but in the meantime you can sign up for restock notification for any out-of-stock products in order to receive a note when they're available.
Next up, we're very excited to announce that we're now carrying thread! We do not have the entire DMC line, but we are stocking all of our preferred color matches for our felt. You can find the thread in the "Thread" section of our website for $1.15 per skein.

EDITED TO ADD: The gift card has been issued. Thank you all so much for being here and supporting our small business. We are so grateful for all of you!
We are also excited to announce that we are swiftly approaching our 10,000th order! To celebrate, we're giving away $100 gift certificate. Will you be the lucky customer?

Sean and I have also been doing a weekly live stream on YouTube where I stitch a particular die in real time so you can see how the designs come together. So far we have shared the Fresh Flowers Die, the Prize Winner Die, the Floral Heart Details Die, the Lovely Layers Die, the Birthday Crown Die, the Chocolate Box Details Die, and the Garden Trimmings Die. You can watch live each week on Tuesdays at 1pm ET on our YouTube Channel or you can catch the replay any time! We hope to see you soon!
Ok. That's a lot of news. How about a project?
I've really enjoyed having a sewing project to work on in the evenings lately, so when I found myself without anything specific that needed to be done recently I decided to create something just for fun. I pulled out my Homespun Holiday: Beautiful Bells Kit and made a set of bells for Spring!
I used Tundra, Satin Slipper, Wintergreen, Chantilly, and Soft Jade felt for these beauties. This first bell uses the vine pattern with beads and sequins to create little blooms. These embellishments are from the Playground Color Story (I pulled from a handful of different embellishment kits).
This next bell uses the scalloped elements and the looped line elements from the kit. I chose to use a chain stitch on the looped line to make it a little more decorative. The beads and sequins on this bell are from the Smitten and In Bloom embellishment kits. The little seed beads on the top scallops are actually clear, but I used the green thread to give them a little color and tie them in to the sequins on the lower scallops.
This last bell uses elements from the kit, but also a flower from the Harvest Pumpkin: Autumn Floral Details Die (though any flower would look great). I used the oval elements from the kit to frame out the flower and make it a feature. I used beads and sequins from the Vintage Charm embellishment kit to dress up the center of the flower and add some sparkle.
The back of the looped bell is the same as the front, but I added a Monogram Alphabet letter to the back of the floral vine bell and a Keepsake Dates year to the back of the flower bell. I am looking forward to decorating our Spring tree in the next week or so. These will look fabulous with all of the eggs and shamrocks that are waiting to break free from storage.
Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a wonderful, crafty weekend and I will see you again soon!
How did I miss out on seeing these, and knowing about the contest? I guess I wasn’t watching IG at the time. I love the bells!!!
I love the spring look! I think they would also look great for bridal shower decor.

Lovely, lovely bells! Really appreciate seeing alternative color scheme and styles with die’s!
Thank you for sharing
I always love it when you take a previous die/kit and refresh it to a whole new look by just changing the color schemes. Gives us a new perspective on all of the possibilities. Thank You guys for all of your hard work and creative ideas!
