Release Update & A Bit Of Housekeeping
Good morning, friends! Well, yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind so I'm just now sitting down to write an update. Thank you so much for your patience.
You probably have noticed by now that the kit sold out yesterday morning. I am totally blown away by the craft community's response to this kit and the support for me in general. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate that support and the enthusiasm you all have shown.
The dies are already on order and should be here in the next 4-5 weeks. That said, I have opened up a preorder option on the website if you would like to take advantage of that this weekend. The preorder will be available from now until Monday at noon Eastern Time. Why preorder when the dies are already on their way? Here are the advantages:
- You secure your kit. No worrying about keeping an eye on the website or blog to make sure you get your copy before it sells out again.
- You secure your Color Story. There's nothing worse than waiting four weeks for the dies to arrive only to find out that the Color Story you wanted went out of stock before you could checkout. When you preorder, we get a very clear idea of what we need to reorder and prepare and are less likely to experience shortages.
- Your kit can be prepared ahead for faster shipping. We'll get your kit assembled so that it's ready and waiting when the dies land resulting in a quicker turnaround.
Does this mean that if you don't preorder, you won't get a kit? No, we are going to use the response from the preorder to inform quantity levels and make sure that the restock order we placed was sufficient. Ideally, we would like to have a limited number of the kits still in stock in the store after the preorders are fulfilled. That way, if someone decides to invest in the kit later, they won't be disappointed by a lack of availability.
I also wanted to take the time and touch base on a few repeat questions we've received. First, in regards to the kit winner, her name was announced on the Introductory post where the contest was first announced, but here's the info again in case you missed it.
After compiling all of the comments and using a random number generator to select a number, our winner, Lisa, is from my blog post!
Congratulations, Lisa! Please contact us at customerservice@poshtadesign.com to claim your prize.
Next on the agenda, I wanted to mention that purchasers of the kit should be receiving the access codes to the exclusive videos in their email next week so you'll be ready to go when your kit arrives on your doorstep!
*ETA (10/28): I've experienced a couple of minor technical difficulties with some of the original videos, but they're being resolved and the videos should be available in a day or two. I sincerely appreciate your patience while I get the issues worked out.*
I believe that's all the news for now. Thank you all again for the excitement you have shared with me and the guest designers this week. It's wonderful to know when you've designed something that inspires people and gives them joy. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. I'll just be over here getting your packages out the door as quickly as possible.
How do I preorder??
What time zone are you in. When you say we can order at Noon- what time zone are you?
is there any way to just order the dies? I would like to use them with paper
Thank you for continuing to offer kits after the initial sale and reorder. As much as I would love to purchase one, I am unable to do so at this time but look forward to when I can. It is a lovely kit—every little detail is beautiful.
Where do I find the preorder option? Pretty Please
Got my kit yesterday! It is awesome! The colors are beautiful! Can’t wait to get started!
