May 2026 Release Details & FAQ

Hey, everyone! I understand that a whole lot of information has been shared in the past couple of days, so I wanted to give a CliffsNotes version here in case anyone would find that helpful.

When is the release?
The release is Saturday, May 16th at Noon Eastern time (I will set up a countdown on Instagram the morning of the release for anyone that might find that helpful).

What new products are being released and how much are they?
From Day 1:

Includes 10 dies. The fully assembled citrus slice measures 2 ⅞” in diameter.

Juicy Watermelon Die (retails for $21)
Includes six dies. The fully assembled watermelon slice measures 3 ⅖” wide by just over 3 ½” tall.

Lemon Zest Die (retails for $30)

Includes 17 dies. The half lemon measures 2 ½” wide by 2 ½” tall. The fully assembled whole lemon measures 3 ¾” wide by 3” tall.

Peachy Keen Die (retails for $32)
Includes five dies. The fully assembled peach measures 3 ⅛” wide by 3 ⅝” tall.

Dino Buddies: Brontosaurus Die (retails for $12)
Includes four dies. The fully assembled brontosaurus measures 3 ⅝” wide by 4 ½” tall.

Dino Buddies: Stegosaurus Die (retails for $12)

Includes seven dies. The fully assembled stegosaurus measures 4 ½” wide by just over 2 ½” tall.

Dino Buddies: T-Rex Die (retails for $14)

Includes six dies. The fully assembled T-rex measures 3 ⅜” wide by 4” tall.

Dino Buddies: Triceratops Die (retails for $14)

Includes seven dies. The fully assembled triceratops measures 4 ½” wide by 2 ½” tall.

From Day 3:

Beach Ball Die (retails for $24)
Includes six dies. The fully assembled Beach Ball measures 3” in diameter.

Protect Your Specs Die (retails for $50)
Includes seven dies. The fully assembled glasses case measures approximately 3” wide by 6” long (dependent on where you place your closure). The arrow design measures 2 ¼” wide by 2 ¼” tall. The embroidered circle design measures 2 ¼” wide by just over 5 ½” tall. The circle accommodates up to a 15mm magnet.

15x3mm Neodymium Magnets (retails for $12 for 10 magnets)
Includes ten magnets. Suited well to coordinate with our Protect Your Specs and Sewing Kit Essentials: Scissor Keeper Dies. These are strong magnets. Please take care to avoid injury.

Sunny Sandcastle Die (retails for $50)
Includes 13 dies. The fully assembled sandcastle measures 4 ⅞” wide by just over 4 ¼” tall.

Travel Tote Die (retails for $27)

Includes two dies. The fully assembled Travel Tote measures 4" wide by just under 4 ¼” tall. The bag portion of the tote measures 4” wide by just over 2 ¾” tall.

 

How about some more FAQs!

What is a "Details" Die?/Why isn't the outline of my shape cutting?
Details Dies are accessory dies that coordinate with one of our Basics Dies (Basic Egg, Basic Heart, Basic Star, Basic Butterfly, and a few others). These dies only cut the details of that particular design, not the outline of the Basic shape. Details Dies often include shaped base plates to help with placement, but they do not have an outer cutting edge. You need the coordinating Basic for these dies to function completely.

What if everything sells out?
All items will all be restocked as soon as possible. There will not be a preorder for the individual dies. I will send a newsletter when everything is available again. If you want to be notified of a restock, please sign up on the product page or for our newsletter. You can do that on our homepage in the bottom right corner.

Do you take backorders or have a waiting list?
No, but you can sign up to receive restock notifications. You will be notified as soon as we have more stock available.

Are there videos for all of the new products?
No, just for the Homespun Holiday Kits. With very rare exception I only produce instructional videos for the full kits. It's one of the ways we differentiate between the stand-alone dies and the value in a kit. Some of the stand-alone dies do include an Inspiration Guide with design ideas and/or diagrams and instructions though. We also have a weekly live series on YouTube on which we stitch different dies in real time so you can see how they come together.

A die I ordered says it comes with a video, but I didn't get my access email.
In order for the access emails to deliver properly you have to be signed up for the newsletter. That said, if you aren't subscribed or if it still didn't come through, please email customer service for assistance. Please note: there is a delay on responses right now, but we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

When are giveaway winners announced?
Tomorrow morning at 9am ET there will be a blog post announcing our winners. Winners must contact customer service to claim their prize (within 30 days).

Will the retired kits be restocked?
We do not have any plans to restock the retired items at this time. The current kits will be restocked as soon as we have all of the elements back in stock. The current kits are Baker's Dozen (retires at the end of June 2026) and Snowy Friends (retires at the end of September 2026).

I forgot something I wanted to order. Can you add it?
If you forgot something from your order you're going to have to order it separately. I'm afraid I cannot add something for you after checkout. For your safety and mine, I do not have access to your payment information. I do my best to combine orders and refund shipping, but if enough time has lapsed between orders we may not catch the subsequent order(s).

How long will it take my order to ship?
We do everything we can to get orders out the door as quickly as possible, but we are a very small operation so please be patient. Orders will start shipping on Monday and we're anticipating having everything shipped out by mid-week.
