Limited Time Preorder!

We have gotten tons of feedback recently from folks who found us only after one of our early kits retired. They have asked us (some with great insistence) to reintroduce our retired kits. After much consideration, many discussions, and some hard-fought alternative sourcing, we are excited to announce that we are opening a preorder for the first three kits we ever released (we will do a preorder for the rest of the retired kits later in the year)! That's right, from now until April 13th at 11:59pm EDT, you can preorder the original Homespun Holiday: Keepsake Ornaments, Cozy Cocoa, or Gingerbread Village Kits!

This is a preorder, so your kit will not ship for 6-8 weeks, but we will do our best to keep that timeline as short as possible.

All kits will come with their original contents (with a couple of exceptions noted below) including video access and Inspiration Guides!

The Homespun Holiday: Keepsake Ornaments Kit will retail for $170 and will include all of the original contents with the exception of the silk ribbon for hanging. That ribbon will be replaced with the cotton crochet thread that we use for all other kits. You can see the original introduction post HERE. You have your choice of four of the original Color Stories: Merry & Bright, Frost, Sugar Plum, and Elegance (unfortunately, we are not able to offer Classic Yuletide at this time).

The Homespun Holiday: Cozy Cocoa Kit will retail for $175. You can see the original introduction post HERE and a follow-up post HERE. You have your choice of four Color Stories: Candy Cane, Nordic Chic, Modern Holiday, and Retro Rainbow.

The Homespun Holiday: Gingerbread Village Kit will retail for $115. You can see the original introduction post HERE. This kit comes with the Gingerbread Village Color Story.

These preordered kits will only be available for a limited time (April 4-13th) and we do not have plans to release them again, so now is the time to order if these have been on your wishlist. We will not be stocking them in the store, so preordering is your only opportunity to purchase these kits.

FAQs!

Can I order other items from the store at the same time as my preorder?
Anything purchased with a preordered kit will ship when the kit is ready. If you want your other items to ship before the preorder is ready, you need to make a separate purchase. 

Can I get a different Color Story than the ones listed as options?
No, I'm afraid not. The kits are only available in the Color Stories listed as options on the order page.

Can I change my mind about my preorder?
You are free to change your mind up until the preorder window closes. After that, all preorder sales are final.

Why can't I just buy the die?
These kits were all designed to be a full concept - everything you need is at your fingertips and of a quality that we believe will stand the test of time. When you buy a kit, you are also receiving access to, essentially, a video class with instructions, tips, and helpful explanations.

Are you going to have extras available in the store?
No. We are handling this reissue strictly on a preorder basis.

How long will it take for preorders to be ready?
We're planning on 6-8 weeks, but it could be much quicker (depending on all sorts of factors). We will be sure to post updates on our blog and Instagram account to keep you informed.

Why are the prices different from when the kits were originally released?
We wanted to keep the prices the same, but unfortunately, the cost of many of the materials and components of the kits have increased since these three kits debuted. We genuinely try to ensure that we are being mindful of the value you receive with our products, but we aren't going to be able to match the prices from four years ago.

I don't have to purchase now, right? You're going to do this again, right?
We do not have any plans to reissue these kits again in the future. If you want one of these three kits, this is your opportunity. We will not be stocking them in the store.

Why did you split up the retired kits? I want one of the other ones.
We felt that splitting up the past kits into two groups would keep the rereleases a little more manageable. We don't want to spread ourselves too thin or make decisions that will negatively impact your overall experience. Doing this in two "waves" felt like the most responsible way to approach our back catalog as a whole. You will have an opportunity to purchase one of the other three retired kits later this year.
