Kicking Off Our Holiday 2026 Release with Friendly Faces and Handy Essentials!

Hello, everyone and welcome to our holiday release introductions! We're so excited to share the lineup with you over the next few days (the release will be Saturday 10/3 at Noon EDT). As always, I will be going live tonight on Instagram to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. Today we're introducing our Guest Creators, four new Color Stories, and a die collection that you are going to love! Let's get into it!

As always, one of my favorite things about Audrey Tokach and her style is just how much she embraces color and vibrancy. Her bright and cheerful style never fails to make me smile. I always look forward to seeing how Audrey will bring the holiday release to life. We are all in for a treat, friends! Make sure to follow along on her Instagram.

No one knows how to make wintertime warm and cozy like a Minnesotan, and Heather Nichols is no exception! I have always been such a huge fan of Heather and her casual, rustic style. Heather will only be with us for part of the introductions, but I can't wait for all of you to see what she has to share. Follow along on her blog!

Miriam Leech's projects are always characteristically so clean and precise. Her skill is inspiring and gives her work such a classic, timeless quality. I can't help but be impressed every time she shares her creativity. Make sure to follow along on her Instagram all this week to see her incredible projects!

I came across Veronica Zalis online some time ago. I fell in love with her use of blending and ink techniques to create depth and texture in every project. She truly brings flat surfaces to life! I was excited to invite her to help with introductions because I couldn't wait to see what she could do with felt. I hope you're just as excited as I am to see everything she has to share. Make sure to pop over to her Instagram tomorrow!

These lovely ladies have some wonderful projects to share with you over the next few days. I hope you will follow along as they share their creativity with you!

Now let's get down to business! Let's start the introductions with the four new Color Stories we have for this release. These will all be available independently or as part of the annual kit (that you will see later this week). First up we have the Berry Bough Color Story. This palette retails for $55.

Close your eyes and imagine sparkling snow on the ground, the smell of a freshly cut tree and a seasonal simmer pot on the stove. Now open your eyes to see beautiful felt in shades of Overcast, Burgundy, Rendezvous, Pine Forest, and Wintergreen and be transported to the holiday season and all of the joy that it brings.

Next up, we have Deco Pop (retails for $55)! This Color Story brings with it the first of our two new colors this release!

Fa-la-la-la-la, let’s have some fun! Turn up the tunes, take out the tinsel, and let your decor be bright! Playful is the intended vibe with shades Glacier, Emerald, Cardinal, Spearmint, and Flamingo - even the names are colorful and cheerful!

Did Emerald catch your eye?

This cool-toned green feels perfect for the holiday season! It is a little less blue than Deep Teal and brighter than Pine Forest. It complements Spearmint beautifully and I truly think you'll love it right away.

Here you can see a comparison with some of our existing colors. From Left: Deep Teal, Emerald, Pine Forest.

Next, we have Knitting Basket (retails for $55).

There is something so special about sitting down in front of warm winter fire with just the sounds of popping and cracking interrupting the stillness. Find your peaceful moment and then use this beautiful felt in shades Toasted Oat, Furrow, Juniper Berry, Arugula, and Red Currant to create something to treasure.

And finally, we have Mountain Mood (retails for $55).

Winter can be a quiet time, a reflective time, an invigorating time, and even an enchanting time. Stock your craft corner with beautiful felt in shades of Horizon, Harbor, Evening Iris, Rosewater, and Indigo and then snuggle in and get to work on all of your cold weather crafts.

Mountain Mood also includes a new color!

Harbor is a lovely mid-toned blue. It's more muted than Marine and not as cool as Dewdrop. It looks particularly beautiful with Sea Spray. Enjoy!

Here you can see a comparison with some of our existing colors. From Left: Juniper Berry, Harbor, Marine.

We are also adding a specialty thread that is perfect for all of your snow day projects. DMC #E5200 is an iridescent white thread that sparkles in the light. We will have it available for $3 per skein.

We are also introducing a handful of new essentials that you are definitely going to find useful. The Basic Circle Die (retails for $26) is first up today.

Everyone can use a handful of versatile shapes in their die collection and this simple circle shape can't be beat! This die includes three sizes of circles to suit a wide variety of creative projects. Use these circles alone or pair them with one of the coordinating dies to make something truly unique and special!

We also have the Pinked Circle Details and Scalloped Circle Details Dies to coordinate with the circles (both retail for $20 each).

There is a pinked edge for each of the sizes in the Basic Circle Die set.

Same goes for a scalloped edge for the Scalloped Circle Details set. Having options for decorative edges is always a good idea!

We also have the Magnet Maker Die (retails for $6) to share with you this week.

This little die can turn anything into a magnet. We've received countless requests to make our magnet pocket dies (like those found in the Protect Your Specs or Scissor Keeper Dies) available separately. This die set includes two "holes only" and layering circles that can accommodate a 15mm magnet. What will you turn into a magnet?

We're also sharing some snowy goodness today! First, we have the Snow Angel Details Die (retails for $34). This die coordinates with the largest of the Basic Circles.

There is nothing quite like that first snow angel on the freshly fallen glistening bed of snow. The Snow Angels Details Die captures the spirit, energy and whimsy of playing in the snow and allows you to bring that joy inside. And as an added bonus, this die isn’t holiday specific so the fun can last all winter long.

And, lastly, we have the Snow Much Fun Die (retails for $65).

Let it snow! And then cozy up with a nice cup of tea in your favorite crafting spot to let the sparkling outdoors inspire the way you use the Snow Much Fun die. It features a classic snowflake design that can be used in many different ways - let your creativity and your color pallet lead the way. Remember, no two snowflakes are alike, unless you craft them that way.

Now that I've finally made it through all of those introductions, let's see what the ladies have to share today!

I really love how colorful all of Audrey's snowy projects are! There is no need to be bland just because you're creating for wintertime. Check out Audrey's Instagram to see everything she has to share with you today!

Holy smokes, Miriam! This is adorable. I would love to hang a piece like this in my home all winter long. Make sure to pop over to Miriam's Instagram to read all about her projects and see all of the details up close.

Our sincere thanks to Audrey and Miriam for sharing their creativity with us today!

I also can't wait to share what I have created for you today, so let's jump in!

I have had this snow angel idea in my head for years and I am so tickled about how these came together. I used the Mountain Mood Color Story to create this little trio.

I used the largest circle from the Basic Circle set as the base for my ornaments. I went with a scalloped circle layer for one of them and a pinked layer for the other two.

It's really hard to see in these photos, but I used a strand of the iridescent thread along with two strands of cotton thread to sew the perimeter of the snow angel outline.

I added a tiny, French knot nose to each little face to give them some subtle features. I also added some of the smaller details (the pom and cuff on the hat, knot of the scarf, and the toes on the boots) with adhesive instead of stitching. You could sew them on if you prefer, but these little pieces don't have stitching holes, so you can decide what works best for you.

On the back, I either personalized the ornaments or added greetings from other dies. The Snow Globe Messages are super cute with these images. The monograms are an upper case alphabet that you'll hear more about tomorrow. I also dressed things up with some Snow Flurry sequins. I love how much whimsy these sequins add to any snowy project!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these dies. They're so much fun!

Next, I have a new banner that I made by pairing the Snow Much Fun snowflake with the En Pointe Banner Builder Die.

I find it pretty impossible to get a great photo of a banner, but I love making them so I'm not stopping! I used the Berry Bough Color Story to create this banner.

I began by cutting patterned fabric circles treated with Terial Magic. These are cut using the medium circle from the Basic Circle Die set. The Terial Magic makes it so easy to cut the fabric cleanly.

I also cut the flags from Overcast felt and white cardstock. Since I know my banner won't be viewed from the back, I used the Overcast on the front and the cardstock on the back of each flag.

I sewed the letters to the fabric layers before sewing the circles to the felt flags. The "holes only" die in the Basic Circle set makes that a snap.

I also cut a snowflake from each of the colors from Berry Bough. I used a contrasting colors for each center and Overcast for the snowflakes themselves.

I love how generously sized these snowflakes are. You could even use the Accessory Alphabet in the center of the snowflakes (if you wanted to personalize them). There are also several great places to add embellishments.

Speaking of embellishments, keep an eye out for more information about the bugle beads I used on these snowflakes.

I strung the flags on white crochet thread, separating the words with snowflakes and large wool balls.

I'm not sure where this banner is going to hang yet, but I'm looking forward to figuring it out!

I hope you enjoyed today's introductions! I will be live on Instagram this evening at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. We will have so much more to share with you tomorrow, so I hope you will stop by to take a peek!
