Kicking Off Christmas In July 2026 with Our Guest Creators and New Color Stories!

Hello, everyone and welcome to this year's Christmas In July introductions! We're so excited to share the lineup with you over the next few days (the release will be Friday 7/3 at Noon EDT). As always, I will be going live tonight on Instagram to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. Today we're introducing our Guest Creators, two new Color Stories, and a die collection that you are going to love! Let's get into it!

Audrey Tokach is one of the finest, most creative ladies out there. She has a fabulous way with color and is always thinking outside the box, coming up with clever ways to use her dies to give them even more life. You're going to love what she has to share with you this week! Make sure to follow along on her Instagram.

I like to peek around on social media when I have a little extra time. I love to see people share their creativity and I was simply delighted to come across Amanda in my travels. Her whimsical style and cheerful color palettes really caught my eye. You're in for a treat, friends! Make sure to follow along with her blog this week!

I have always loved Kelly's work. She has such a way with special details. It really takes her projects to a spectacular new level. Make sure to check in on her blog this week to enjoy a visual treat!

These lovely ladies have some wonderful projects to share with you over the next few days. I hope you will follow along as they share their creativity with you!

Now let's get down to business! Let's start the introductions with the two new Color Stories we have for this release. First up we have the Ribbon Candy Color Story. This palette retails for $55.

Bright and cheerful ribbon candies were always a staple of the holiday season at my grandparents’ house. Those beautiful, sugary ribbons glittering in the lights were a delight to behold long before they were enjoyed. The Ribbon Candy Color Story embraces the joyful colors and flavors ingrained in that memory. This palette includes Mango, Taffy, Crabapple, Spearmint, and Wintergreen felt.

Our second new Color Story is called Whistle Stop. It also retails for $55.

Celebrate a time-honored holiday train palette with the Whistle Stop Color Story! Bright red and classic green are paired with bold heathered charcoal and softer tones for seasonally apropos contrast. This color scheme is perfect for giving your trains seasonal flair. This Color Story includes Soft Jade, Granite, Cardinal, Conifer, and Petal felt.

We also have two new Dot colors to introduce for this release. We are thrilled to announce Conifer Dot and Glacier Dot felt!

These will be sold in full (5"x36") rolls for $11 and half (5"x18") rolls for $6 to fit every budget.

We are also sharing a pair of coordinating dies today. The Picture Frame Die (retails for $38) and the Picture Frame Extras Die (retails for $32).

Turn photos and artwork into keepsakes with the Picture Frame Die! This die is perfect for creating an heirloom that can be enjoyed year after year. Add a loop to make an ornament or wall hanging, set it on a stand, or add magnets to create refrigerator or locker decor! Use this die independently or pair it with the coordinating Picture Frame Extras Die for even more design options.

Who doesn’t love options? This die includes four additional design options that you can use on your Picture Frames, making each one unique.

Please note: This die coordinates with the Picture Frame Die. This die does not cut the frame itself, just the embroidered elements that you can use to embellish the frames.

I don't think it gets any cuter than Audrey's set of colorful frames. Just look at that sweet face! Check out all of the details on Audrey's Instagram!

I absolutely love that Amanda used her frames to feature some beloved furry family members. Make sure to pop over to her blog to see even more of her charming frames!

Kelly's cheerful colors and tone-on-tone embroidery are a feast for the eyes. Pop over to her blog to see more of her gorgeous projects!

These ladies are so amazing! I hope you will pop over to visit them and leave them some love.

I have also been having a blast with these new dies, so let's get into some projects! First up, I have a magnetic frame that I created to showcase some of Tilly's artwork.

Aside from the circle dies I used from the Protect Your Specs Die, everything on this frame is included in the Picture Frame Die (the base die). I cut the frame from Deep Teal and embroidered the scalloped design using DMC 3813. I used a chipboard insert to make the frame nice and sturdy. I kept the pocket on the back open so I can switch out the artwork regularly. I even made her a little stack of papers that she can decorate that will fit perfectly into the frame.

Speaking of the pocket, I want to show you a couple of ways that you can finish the back of these frames.

There is a small pocket panel (on the right) that you can use to hold a small photo or piece of art. Or you can use the large, solid panel to give the back of your projects a clean finish. You can also use the back as a nice, solid space to add embroidery (like names or dates).

Next up, I have a trio of ornaments (or wall hangings) that I created for the holidays.

I love that these can be used as either large ornaments or petite wall hangings. I don't know about you, but I have a healthy collection of ribbon to use as hangers. It works perfectly! But you could also use an easel or stand to display these frames.

This frame uses just the basic die, but I dressed it up with a Cocoa Messages phrase (that I die cut selectively so it would all fit onto one line). I cut the frame from Petal and embroidered the phrase with DMC 349. I used white twill for the hanger.

I embellished it with the tree from Sip, Sip, Hooray. I cut the top from the new Conifer Dot felt and the trunk from Shagbark. A few beads and sequins give the perfect amount of sparkle.

The Glacier Dot felt really wins the day on this frame. I used the narrow border from the Picture Frame Extras Die to add a bold pop of Crabapple. I love how the red ties in with the grosgrain.

This final frame also uses the Picture Frame Extras set.

I used Agave for the frame. I centered the year using the Keepsake Dates Die. I think that ribbon is ancient American Crafts ribbon, but I'm not completely sure. I can tell you I've had it for at least a decade though. I love that I'm finally using up some of my ribbon collection with these frames!

I stitched the vine pattern from the Picture Frame Extras Die in one corner with DMC 319. The poinsettia is Red Currant and Tundra. I also used white opalescent beads to add berries to the embroidery. I really, really love this and I will definitely be making more for different seasons.

I hope you enjoyed today's introductions! I will be live on Instagram this evening at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. We will have so much more to share with you tomorrow, so I hope you will stop by to take a peek!
