Introducing This Year's Halloween Lineup!

Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback you're all giving us about this release so far. I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's favorite books! Today we are going to introduce this year's Halloween product lineup, but first I want to remind you that I will be live tonight at 8pm EDT on Instagram to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. Now let's jump in to some sweetly spooky Halloween goodness!

So first up in our Halloween Collection is the Candy Bowl Color Story (retails for $55)!

The Candy Bowl Color Story embraces the cheerful sweetness of trick-or-treat and the Halloween season. Bright pinks, green, and orange are offset by textured black to create an upbeat palette perfect for your not-so-spooky creations. This Color Story includes Granite, Parfait, Limelight, Clementine, and Satin Slipper felt. 

Candy Bowl includes one new color, Parfait!

This charming pinky-purple is a delightful addition to our color palette. It's brighter than Lavender and it's a wonderful complement to Orchid. I really think you're going to love it!

Next up is the Feeling Batty Die (retails for $18).

This happy little bat is ready to add a touch of levity to your Halloween decor. The Feeling Batty Die is more of a playful pal than a roguish rascal, sporting a gleeful expression and cheerful demeanor. Make ornaments, wall decor, and more to make your Spooky Season a little brighter.

Next we have the Monster Mash: Mummy Die (retails for $30).

With overlapping fabric strips and glowing eyes, the Monster Mash: Mummy is full of texture and interest that adds an eerie vibe to your Halloween creations. Pair him with the other Monster Mash dies for Halloween projects featuring classic characters with a sense of humor.

And lastly, we have the Witchy Boo Die (retails for $22).

Our little ghostie friend is dressed to impress in the Witchy Boo Die. Her classic pointed hat, complete with contrasting band, is full of traditional Halloween style. Create garlands, ornaments, and more to create seasonal decor with style that’s more sweet than spooky.

I love that Audrey never shies away from using color in her projects! Her creativity always brings a smile to my face. And would you look at that little witch! So cute! Make sure to check in on her Instagram to read all the details.

I loved Chari's Monster Mash character treat baskets last year and I was thrilled when she followed up this year with the Monster Mash: Mummy. I love that she stuffed him a little for extra dimension and even added a sneaky little smile. Head over to her blog to see more!

Renee created this adorable piece of home decor by giving her little ghost a framed backdrop. The bow, spectacles, and arms (holding a beloved book) are also such sweet details. Get a closer look over on Renee's Instagram!

I just love how these ladies all have such distinctive styles. They've been working hard and it has paid off! Now I have a few projects to share with you!

I have spent the past couple of years building up my Halloween decor collection and I wanted to try and make a substantial piece of wall decor.

I used a 12" embroidery hoop to create this little scene. I used herringbone and solid black fabric for the background.

I used the Candy Bowl Color Story for the Book Club stack, pulling in embellishments and fun stitches to add pops of color.

I added the bubbling potion bottle from Eerie Apothecary. I think the bubbles are a nice touch.

I used the Snow Flurries Heart swirls to create a magical trail for the Feeling Batty bat. I simply used the die to cut a scrap of paper that I then used as a template. I used a disappearing ink pen to transfer the pattern by inking through the holes. Then I embellished with the Candy Bowl beads and sequins along with a few Vintage Starburst Sequins for texture and interest.

I also used floral wire in the bat's wings to make them positionable (there is a little channel up at the top edge) and make them pop off of the surface. I really love how this turned out and I can't wait to have it up for Spooky Season!

Next up, I have a little banner I made. This will be perfect above the window in our dining room. I used the Candy Bowl Color Story for this one too. 

I used the Banner Builder: Scoop Die and Banner Builder Alphabet for the letter pennants.

Each letter was embellished with the coordinating color of beads and sequins to give a tone-on-tone effect. It's more subtle that way, but still gives a lovely touch of sparkle.

The witchy ghosts make me smile. I used flowers and leaves from the Mini Egg Basket Details Die to embellish their hats and give them a friendlier vibe.

I flipped the second ghost, so they would mirror each other on the garland. What you can't tell from these photos is that I stitched the ghosts' eyes and perimeters with DMC #E940, so they glow in the dark at night. Cute!

My final project of the day is an addition of sorts. I made this set of Halloween character ornaments last year and I thought it would be nice to include the Monster Mash: Mummy in the set.

I used a mix of Tundra and Overcast felt for the fabric strips. Using a couple of colors adds dimension effortlessly.

I added Inkwell for his face and glowing Cardinal eyes for just a hint of spooky style. I think he makes a fabulous addition to the crew, don't you?
