Introducing the Star Spangled Collection

Good morning and welcome back to our second day of Summer 2024 introductions! I'm so excited that you're all looking forward to our new products. Just a reminder that all of the new products will be available in our shop on Saturday (5/18), so they'll be here before you know it!

I also want to remind you that (barring persistent cold symptoms) I will be going live on Instagram this evening at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you have about today's new products.

Today I am going to be introducing a few new dies that are perfect for all of you wanting patriotic dies. The Basic Star Die, Stars & Stripes Star Details Die, Nautical Star Details Die and Stars & Stripes Heart Details Die are sure to become instant favorites!

Let's take a closer look at the Basic Star Die (retails for $24).

Simple, customizable shapes are the swiss army knife of every crafter’s collection. The Basic Star can be tailored to celebrate nearly any occasion, making it an invaluable tool to have at your fingertips. This die includes two sizes of star to suit a wide variety of creative projects. Use these stars alone or pair them with one of the coordinating details dies to make something truly unique and special!

The Stars & Stripes Star Die (retails for $24 - coordinates with the Basic Star Die which retails separately for $24).

Put a patriotic spin on your Basic Star shapes using this Stars & Stripes Details Die. These stars are ideal for Memorial Day, Independence Day, or even to celebrate a beloved veteran. The shaped base plate makes placement of the stripes and field of stars a snap. Just line up the die cut shape with the base plate and you’re all set! It’s so simple to get precise cuts every time.

The Nautical Star Details Die (retails for $22 - coordinates with the Basic Star Die which retails separately for $24).

Add some maritime flair to the Basic Star using our Nautical Star Details Die. The shaped base plate makes placement a snap. Just line up the die cut shape with the base plate and you’re all set! It’s so simple to get precise cuts every time.

The Stars & Stripes Heart Details Die (retails for $20   - coordinates with the Basic Heart Die which retails separately for $17).

The Stars & Stripes Heart Details Die adds patriotic style to your Basic Heart shapes. These hearts are ideal for Memorial Day, Independence Day, or even to celebrate a beloved veteran. Now that you've gotten a peek, let's see what the Guest Creators have to share with you today.

Lisa has given her stick jar fillers such a fabulous rustic feel! I love the button embellishments!

These ornaments by Michelle are so fun and cheerful! I just love the floral embellishments on the Statement Numeral!

I've also been hard at work, so let's jump into my projects! I don't have much in the way of patriotic decor, so I had a lot of fun putting these banners and ornaments together.

My first project is a banner that I made with the Statement Alphabet and Statement Numerals.

I used the Stars & Stripes Star Details with the Basic Star to dress up the ends and separate the words.

I used the drawn star design on the smaller stars and embellished with some beads and sequins.

I used the Accessory Alphabet to add the "TH" to the Statement Numerals 4 Die. This big banner will be perfect for the large window in our dining room!

Next up, I have a smaller banner with a few letters and the Basic Heart, Stars & Stripes Heart Details Die.

I used the Statement Alphabet to spell out the USA and added the hearts to both ends.

I embellished these hearts with beads for a bit of sparkle.

This one will be great for a window!

My last group of projects is a set of ornaments that I made to hang on our summer tree. I used the Nautical Star Details Die for all of these.

I made a couple with monograms to personalize them.

The other two I decorated a little differently.

I used the Accessory Alphabet and Accessory Numerals dies to spell out "1776 USA" on the first one. I used the little star from the die set to embellish the numbers.

On the other ornament I used the drawn star. The beads on the ends of the star add just the right amount of interest.

I'm really looking forward to having these hanging this summer!
