Introducing The Homespun Holiday: Snowy Friends Kit & In The Round Messages
Good morning and welcome to the final day of our Holiday 2025 countdown! We've reached it! It's kit reveal day! Our release will go live on our website at Noon EDT on Saturday, October 4th, but I will be going live on Instagram this evening at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions. Let's get to it!
Our first introduction of the day is the Homespun Holiday: Snowy Friends Kit (retails for $170).
Snowmen are a quintessential part of any snowy winter day activity. Their smiling faces and jaunty attire bring joy to everyone, whether young or young-at-heart. The Homespun Holiday: Snowy Friends Kit includes both a fully-body snowman (with several optional hat styles) as well as a circular ornament with a choice of two Snowy Friends figures. Personalize your snowmen with hats, buttons, and scarves to bring them to life and make them a charming part of your holiday season.

Our Guest Creators have been hard at work creating holiday magic to share with all of you, so let's take a peek!
Would you just look at the fringe that Audrey added to the snowman's scarf?! And the little stick arms?! So cute! See the rest of her projects on her Instagram.
How festive is Lisa's wreath?! It's almost enough to make me wish for snow! Check out her blog to see even more details about her project.

Mary used large, bent paperclips to create these incredibly clever bookshelf decorations! Check out the details over on her Instagram.
I am so grateful to these talented ladies for sharing their creativity with us this week. They are truly amazing and it has been a thrill to have them!
I have also enjoyed creating with this kit and I can't wait to share the projects I've made! I am smitten with these sweet snowmen.
I played with three of the four Color Stories and I will most definitely be making another set with the fourth. This first set is the Dancing Lights Color Story.
I added a Banner Builder Alphabet letter to this circular design. I love the two circular designs in this kit. They are super easy to put together!
The kit also includes a full-body snowman with five interchangeable heads (six if you include the hat-less snowman). I love this earmuff version! I also added some optional buttons and a few Snow Flurry Sequins for interest.
I used the heart shaped buttons on this snowman. This one also sports one of the two stocking caps in the set.
How about some Winter Woods?
I love this palette. It feels so wintery to me. Plus, horizon makes a fabulous background!
This is the other round design in the Snowy Friends Kit. I decorated the sky with a mix of sequins and free-handed snowflakes/stars. I just love this guy!
And this one is the fedora-sporting snowman. I added holly leaves and bead berries to his hat. I also used the buttons and gave him a little sequin sparkle.
And here's the other round design again. I used a feather stitch to create an embroidered eye and then embellished with beads and sequins.
On the back of this ornament (and the round ornament from the Dancing Lights set) I embroidered a greeting using the In The Round Messages Die. I used a chain stitch to sew the heart on the "With Love" design. I embellished both with sequins for some sparkle. These greetings are such a great way to fill this oft-forgotten space.
And last, but not least, here are my Cozy Christmas ornaments!
I also tried out a technique that I am particularly happy about on two of these ornaments. Can you see it? The glitter?
That's right! I figured out a way to add glitter to felt without using actual glitter felt. The coated glitter felt can be so difficult to cut through, so I never want to use it. But I cut regular felt, popped out the holes, and then used glitter spray paint to add a beautiful glitter finish to my ornaments. I sprayed the pieces with Krylon and Rustoleum just to test both brands and I tried with top sealer and without. I left the pieces to dry for two days and let them air out to minimize the spray paint odor. It definitely stiffened the felt, but it worked! the shedding was minimal (especially with the top coat) and the smell dissipated fairly quickly.
I also used a Snow Globe Messages greeting on the back of this one. Not all of the sentiments will fit on this circle, but this one and "Joy" definitely do. A few Snow Flurry Sequins never hurt anything either.
I did my glitter technique on this snowman too. Look at how sparkly his hat is! I am also quite happy with his holly and berries. I opted to add beaded buttons instead of felt buttons and I really love the texture it adds.
On the back, I personalized this snowman with the Accessory Alphabet and Monogram Alphabet. I used a bead instead of a french knot because I've always struggled with french knots and this way it's shiny. So there.
This last snowman features the final hat style. It's a sweet stocking cap that I embellished with some beads and sequins. I also used one of the heart buttons to add some flair to his scarf.
On the back, I used the Keepsake Dates Die to add the year. We've had a lot of questions about the Keepsake Dates Die and, yes, there will be a new edition, but it will not be this release. I hope that helps!
Well, that just about wraps up the introductions for this month's release. I want to say thank you again to Audrey, Lisa, and Mary for all of their hard work and creativity this week. It was a big release and they handled it effortlessly! Please make sure to visit them if you haven't already. They've truly outdone themselves this week!
I will be going live tonight at 8pm EDT to answer any questions about the release, so make sure to stop by if you have any questions about this release!

We don’t get a lot of snow but when we do we have a tradition of baking challah. Our mailman called it blizzard bread and we would always give him a loaf with a jar of jelly. My Papá used to make it every Easter and called it Easter bread so we have carried on the tradition now that he is no longer with us.
We don’t get much snow out here in SoCal, but I do love seeing my kids light up when we’ve experienced snow. It’s so exciting because it’s so rare!
I’m a California girl so not much snow growing up. We did spend 5 beautiful years in Washington state though, so I got a little taste. My favorite activity was taking my grandkids sledding. It was magical!
I want to build a snowman!!!
