Introducing More Of The Heart Details Collection

Good morning and welcome back for the second day of the Heart Details Collection reveals! Today I'm introducing you to the Scalloped Heart Details Die (retails for $25), the Floral Heart Details Die (retails for $20), and the Embroidered Heart Vine Details Die (retails for $15). I have several samples to show you, so let's get started!

First, I want to share a pair of brooches that I created with the smaller hearts. All of the Details dies includes a design for each size, so you'll get plenty of use of both hearts. *Please note: The Details Dies do not cut the heart shape, only the decorative elements.*

The polka dot heart uses the Basic Heart with the Embroidered Heart Vine Details and the Scalloped Heart Details Dies. The solid heart uses the Basic Heart with the Floral Heart Details Die.

I created this brooch with Petal Dot, Tundra, and Cardinal felt. I used the Embroidered Heart Vine Details Die to add the design, then used beads and a sequin to add a bit of sparkle. Both brooches are stuffed with a tiny bit of polyfil to give them a touch of dimension.

The scalloped edge adds such a fun element to this brooch! I also really like how it gives the brooch a little boost in size for when you want a project that will stand out a bit.

I created this second brooch with Pixie, Sunlight, and Tundra felt. This one features the small Floral Heart Details Die design. The small floral design features a small bloom and a spray of individual leaves. This brooch is dainty and sweet and I love it so much.

I used two different backs on these brooches. The 1" bar pin (on the left) is my usual go-to, but I also wanted to try an alternative pin style. The pin on the right has a flat back with a protruding pin (almost like a thumb tack) and a clip thing on the end. I really like this style for brooches that will have layers because you can sandwich the pin part between the layers to keep it secure without having to sew anything into place. Both are really wonderful options!

The next pair of samples I have for you is a set of lavender sachets made with the larger hearts and larger Details designs.

These are filled with real dried lavender, so they smell just as lovely as they look!

The monogrammed sachet features the large Embroidered Heart Vine Details design. I used Cardinal Dot, Satin Slipper and Indigo felt with white stitching. I also used the Monogram Alphabet to add the "R" to the center of the vine design and then embellished with a sprinkling of clear beads. It really sparkles!

The other sachet showcases the Floral Heart Details design. I used Midas Touch, Cardinal, Satin Slipper, Soft Jade, Sunlight, and Tundra felt to create this sachet. I also added a strand of gold thread in with my white stitching to add a tiny bit of interest to the swirls. I love that little bit of metallic sheen from the Midas Touch polka dots!

I couldn't just leave the back of these sachets blank! On the floral sachet I have stitched the "Love You" from the Conversation Hearts Messages Die. On the monogrammed sachet I have used the large scripty "XO" design included in the Scalloped Heart Details Die. I can't wait to give these away!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at all of the Heart Details Collection projects over the past couple of days! These dies will release on Saturday, 12/31 at Noon EST.
