Introducing Our Valentine's Day Color Story Collection and the Love Potion Details Die

Good morning, everyone! Today I am going to kick off our Valentine's Day line up for this year. I'm on my own for this release, but there's still going to be plenty to see over the next few days!

Let's kick things off today with a peek of our two new Color Stories debuting this release. I truly can't decide which is my favorite and I hope you love them too!

Delighted

Inspired by a bouquet brimming with delicate posies, the Delight Color Story combines cool pinks, tender greens, and a hint of soft yellow. This palette features Soft Jade, Lollipop, Sunlight, Mixed Berry, and Sprout felt.

Lovebug

I often call my little girl Lovebug and this Color Story is inspired by her sweetness. It’s a quintessential, cheerful Valentine’s Day palette that is sure to bring a smile to your face. Happy pinks and lively aquas are balanced with heathered gray for a combination that you instantly recognize. This Color Story includes Overcast, Cascade, Glacier, Petal, and Ripe Raspberry felt.

Each Color Story includes five rolls of 100% wool felt measuring 5"x36." The felt won't pill and stays vibrant over time. It die cuts beautifully and gives your projects a luxurious feel.

Also included are five skeins of matching 6-strand cotton thread to take the guesswork out of your creative time.

You also receive a carefully curated assortment of seed beads and sequins in a handy storage box. The box is durable, but with easy access so you can take your projects on the go without the hassle of juggling plastic baggies full of embellishments. Each color of sequins also comes in two sizes to give you extra versatility with your designs. These Color Stories are designed to make getting creative effortless and joyful!

The Color Stories retail for $53 each.

I am also introducing a new die today. The Love Potion Details Die (retails for $12) is a companion to the previously released Eerie Apothecary Die (retails separately for $32).

Create projects for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, and other occasions of love with the decorative label options found in this handy die. The Eerie Apothecary bottles just got a new lease on life!

Let's dive in and take a closer look at these ornaments. Last year Tilly asked me if we could keep one of our Christmas trees up for Valentine's Day. I never got one decorated, but this year I'm definitely doing it! I created these ornaments to help dress up our tree. My plan is to use a white tree and trim it with red, pink, and aqua decorations, so these Lovebug ornaments will be perfect!

I added personalization to some of the ornaments. This large bottle has Sean and my initials embroidered on the back. I used the Accessory Alphabet to add the letters. A small heart between the two finishes it off nicely (more on that heart in a second).

Tilly's monogram was added to this bottle using the Monogram Alphabet die set. It's big and bold enough that she will be able to easily recognize it on the tree. She loves picking out her initial when she sees it on my handmade ornaments!

This die set includes a handful of heart sizes and styles, so getting a wide variety of looks is a snap! You can also use the negatives from the die cuts to get even more from your die.

I used the largest heart negative and the small pieces from this label to decorate the Overcast bottle on the left. You can use embellishments to secure the pieces (as I've done here) or simply attach the negatives with a bit of felt or hot glue.

I also wanted to show you that you can switch things up by using the "9" layer or not depending on your preference.

You can also use other dies in your collection to further expand your design options. The bow on this bottle is from a die you'll see more of tomorrow.

One of my favorite things in this Details die is the XOXO embroidery design that you can add to the labels or the bottles themselves. It's very similar to the XXX greeting in the original die set and I just love how cute it is! It's amazing what a difference one little letter can make, eh?

Thank you so much for joining me for today's introductions! I may be on my own for this release, but there are still some traditions we're embracing and one of those is my daily live streams. I'm going to go live in my Instagram stories this evening (Wednesday 12/27) at 8pm ET, so feel free to join me over there if you want to ask any questions or see some behind the scenes peeks!
