Introducing Our Team & Kicking Off Autumn 2025!

Hello, everyone, and welcome to this year's Autumn release! We have so many fun things to share with you over the next few days and we couldn't be more excited! As always, I will be going live on Instagram tonight at 8pm to answer any questions you have about today's introductions. Today we're introducing our Guest Creators, two new Color Stories, and a new collection of dies that is sure to have you rooting for the home team! Let's get started!

Audrey is back to knock your socks off with her creativity! She has such a wonderful way of adding special details that are truly inspiring. Make sure to check in with her the rest of the week for projects that will make you smile and scheme at the same time.

 

Chari never fails to make me smile and I'm sure she will have you grinning from ear to ear, too! Her projects are always so thoughtful and incredible treats to behold. Don't miss a single one!

 

I absolutely love Dana! Her enthusiasm and positivity radiate from everything she shares. She beautifully blends felt creating and card making for hybrid projects brimming with texture and style. Be sure to check in with her all week, too!

Now that I've introduced this release's fabulous team, let's check out some of our lineup!

We're going to kick things off with a look at two of the new Color Stories we're releasing on Saturday! First up is the Bejeweled Color Story. This palette retails for $55.

This rich and vibrant color scheme is inspired by autumn birthstones. Shades of Garnet, Citrine, Peridot, Opal, and Topaz make for a brilliant and unexpected palette. The Bejeweled Color Story includes Burgundy, Squash, Agave, Grove, and Deep Teal felt.

The next Color Story is Heritage Harvest. This palette also retails for $55.

Heirloom crops include some of the most unique and inspiring colors in nature. This color palette is influenced by the bounty of the farmer’s market and all of the glorious colors found amongst the stalls. This palette includes Fig, Toasted Oat, Russet, Ochre, and Weathered Moss felt. 

We are also introducing the Let's Play Collection today. This series of dies celebrates athletics! We are starting with some fall sports, but the series will continue with additional sports in our next release.

Our first Let's Play die is Let's Play: Cheer (retails for $17).

Chari's ingenious magnetized banner gives her the option to swap out the balls to celebrate multiple sports. Make sure to visit her blog to see it in action!

Dana is rooting for the home team on her card. The felt megaphone adds such great texture to the focal point of her card. Make sure to check out her project HERE!

These talented ladies have given you plenty to enjoy, but I wanted to share a little something today, too.

I used the Let's Play Collection to make some ornaments to share with the youth athletes in our lives.

Let's take a look at the football first. I used Gingersnap as the base for the football with Tundra accents and DMC #3341 decorative stitching.

On the back of the ornament, I personalized the ornament with a Monogram Alphabet letter and Keepsake Dates year in the recipient's school colors (I used Sapphire).

Next, I have the Soccer ornament using that recipient's school colors (Sapphire and Tundra).
On the back, I used the Monogram Alphabet to add an initial and a year using the same Keepsake Dates Die.

For the Cheer ornament, I used Arugula and Tundra with some Inkwell (black) stitching. The embroidered "Cheer" is an optional detail, so you could use the Accessory Alphabet or Monogram Alphabet to add personalization instead.

Next up is the Volleyball ornament.

I used the ball stitching and the Monogram Alphabet initial to represent the school colors for the recipient (Burgundy for the initial).

These were really fun projects to make and I'm glad to be able to create something truly personal for some special kids!

I also mentioned in our Stitching Live episode yesterday that one of today's dies might be really great for creating little 3D pumpkins. I couldn't let it go until I made one, so I present...my football pumpkin!

I used Glowing Ember felt for the pumpkin and Pea Pod for the leaf (from the Harvest Pumpkin Die). I used the same technique as with the Basic Egg pumpkin, just a different die. This one is a little less tapered toward the top, but they're fairly similar. If you want to see me put one of these together, I encourage you to check out this week's Stitching Live episode.

  • I’m not much of a sports fan, but have watched many, many football (soccer) matches on tv. I’m married to someone that loves English football. :-)

  • I have become a Banana Ball fan which is baseball with a twist. Football is another fav along with my son playing soccer. Enjoyed playing softball and volleyball in my younger years until messing up bones and tendons in my hands. Love sports!

    Now I only follow when it’s getting close to the Olympics. Other times it’s not really covered on TV. It’s exciting watching other people compete at something I loved.
