Introducing Our Outdoor Collection

Good morning and welcome back to the second day of our Summer 2025 introductions! Just a reminder that all of the new products will be available on Saturday (5/24) at Noon EDT. I will also be going live tonight at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you have about today's introductions. Let's get to it!

First up, we have the Joyful Rainbow Die (retails for $38).

Whether they’re embellishing the sky, home decor, or clothing, rainbows are sure to bring a smile to anyone they encounter. Add a bit of colorful flair to your projects with this charming rainbow. The Joyful Rainbow is perfect for anyone looking to add a bit of unbridled happiness to their home.

Next, we have the Ray Of Sunshine Die (retails for $30).

The Ray Of Sunshine Die features a radiant sun and fluffy cloud along with two optional shining smiles. The embroidered rays on the sun offer interest, texture, and an opportunity for an extra pop of color. Just try and frown looking at these sweet figures. It can’t be done!

If we have the sun, we have to have the moon, right? Well, the Over The Moon Die (retails for $50) is just the ticket!

The Old Man on the Moon is keeping a sleepy, yet watchful, eye on the World. This die is perfect for projects celebrating baby, rest, and even thinking of you. Keep the crescent  Moon simple or add rosy cheeks and embroidery for delicate detail that is sure to please.

And, finally, we have the Shooting Star Details Die (retails for $18 - coordinates with the Basic Star Die which retails separately for $24).

This die is designed to add a tri-color tail to the small star from the Basic Star Die. Use it to create movement and add a pop of playful color to out-of-this-world projects!

Now that we've gotten through all of the basics, let's take a look at what Miriam has to share with you today!

Miriam has created a charming mobile to share with you today. You're sure to love all of her sparkly details and sunny color palette! See more of her project HERE.

It turns out, great minds think alike! When I saw Miriam's project, I briefly considered switching up my project. Ultimately, I decided to go ahead and share my version, too. So I hope you're in the mood for more mobile inspiration!

I chose to create my mobile using a softer palette. You could go with even more pastel tones, but Tilly has already requested to hang this in her room so I didn't want it to look too baby-like. I think this strikes a great balance.

Let's start at the top with the Shooting Star Details Die.

I went with a base of Pistachio and stripes in Calypso and Rouge. I cut the Basic Heart shape from Tundra and the layering star from Daffodil. The smaller star shape is in the Over The Moon Die. One quick note about the ends of the stripes: I found they were more secure after I added tiny dots of glue under the points.

Speaking of the Over the Moon Die, let's take a look at the moon next.

I cut the moon from Overcast felt and added a Petal cheek (the cheek is from the Over The Moon Die set). I cut the star from Daffodil and embellished with a few sequins for sparkle.

Next, let's peek at the happy little sun!

I cut this sun from Daffodil and Clementine and added eyes from Tundra felt and sequins. The Ray Of Sunshine Die includes two optional faces. I have one on each side of the sunshine.

I also used the two faces on the clouds (the large cloud is included in the Ray Of Sunshine Die).

This first one I cut from Tundra and used the happy closed-eye smiling face to the cloud. I added the cheeks (from the Over The Moon Die) in Petal.

I used the open-eye smile on the Glacier cloud, but I switched up the size of the sequins (from the sun) to add a little variety to the design.

And finally, the Joyful Rainbow.

I used Rouge, Clementine, Daffodil, Pistachio, Calypso, Pixie, and Tundra felt to create the rainbow. I added a tiny Overcast heart to one of the clouds and embellished the other with beads and sequins. I also sprinkled in some smaller clouds embellished with sequins to add interest.

I hung everything on a 7" wooden hoop. I love this so, so much! Now just to hang it in our girl's room.

I couldn't stop creating with these dies, so I have a few more projects to share.

The Over The Moon Die is perfect for baby projects. I'm imagining "Baby's First Christmas" ornaments. The back is perfect for a monogram or date.

I am totally smitten with the optional embroidery design for the moon. The botanical design lends itself well to embellishment for added touches of sparkle. Be still my heart!

Next up, I have a pair of ornaments made with the Joyful Rainbow Die.

I wanted to try a couple of different style options and I'm really loving the chain stitch to create embroidered stripes.

I used Sea Spray as the base and added Tundra clouds. I went with a Cardinal, Monarch, Daffodil, Katydid, Marine, and Pixie thread palette on the rainbow. Then, I used white and metallic silver threads to add a "silver lining" to the clouds.

I stitched through both layers of the base when I did my chain stitching and I figured some of you may wonder what the back looks like. As long as you're careful when you're sewing through, the stitches will still look nice and clean.

I dangled three Marine raindrops from one of the clouds to add some interest. These drops look so playful as they gently twirl.

I have one last rainbow project to share with you today. I wanted to make a piece of home decor that I could hang on a wall and this rainbow hoop is just right!

I started with a piece of aqua cotton in an 8" hoop to use as my base. I cut the Joyful rainbow shape from Tundra and the clouds from Overcast.

Then I settled on a palette for the raindrops and threads. I ended up choosing Cardinal, Monarch, Daffodil, Katydid, Vintage Glass, and Amethyst. I used the coordinating threads on the rainbow stripes.

I also used metallic silver thread to add a silver lining to these clouds (I can't get enough!) and stitched the raindrops beneath the rainbow. I added a bead and sequin to each raindrop and a sprinkling of clear iridescent sequins to the background fabric for a little extra interest. I am super happy with how this turned out!

That's all for me today. I hope you've enjoyed this look at the new Outdoor Collection! It will be available on Saturday (5/24) at Noon EDT, but I will be on Instagram live tonight at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you might have about today's introductions.
