I want to remind you that I will be going live on Instagram this evening at 8pm EDT to answer any questions you have about today's new products. Now let's get to the introductions!

First we're introducing the talented Guest Creators who will be helping showcase the release. So without further ado, let's say hello!

Lisa Schenck's work has a warm, homespun quality that is sure to inspire you. I love seeing her projects pop up in my Instagram feed; it's like getting a hug through the screen. You're truly in for a treat this week!

Michelle Peckam has a clean and vibrant sense of style that never fails to catch my eye. You're going to love everything she has to share in the next few days!

Today the ladies and I are going to be working with the By The Numbers Collection. We have number dies ranging from the itty bitty to huge! You'll find something to fit every need.

The Accessory Numerals Die (retails for $7) is a set of petite numbers are ideally suited to coordinate with the Accessory Alphabet. Personalize your projects by using these dainty digits to add special dates, ages, and more. Includes numbers 1 through 0 (10 digits).

The Monogram Numerals Die (retails for $24) is sized to coordinate with the Monogram Alphabet and Inline Monogram Alphabet, including both styles in one convenient set! Use these handy numbers to personalize your projects with dates, ages, or whatever your heart desires.

Please note: The “6” and the “9” in this font are identical. Only one will be included in the full set of numerals.

The Statement Numerals Collection (retails for $14-$20 depending on the digit or $135 for the full set). Use these mega numbers to create countdowns, birthday garlands, and more! These numbers are available individually or as a set for maximum versatility. Please note: The “6” and the “9” in this font are identical. Only one will be included in the full set of numerals.

Now that I've made the introductions, let's see what the Guest Creators have to share with you!

Lisa's patriotic banner is perfect for the upcoming summer holidays! The big, bold numbers make such a wonderful focal point.

Michelle's embellished numbers are so cheerful! It's like a garden party. I love that she used the large blooms to represent the numerals!

Aren't these ladies amazing?! Please make sure to visit them end enjoy everything they have to share this week.

I've been having a ball with these new numbers and I can't wait to show you what I've been stitching!

First up, I have a garland I made for Tilly's preschool teacher to decorate her classroom. It's a bright and cheerful row of numbers embellished with stars to represent each number.

I thought the rainbow colors fit in perfectly with the decor at the preschool. I used Cheeky, Cardinal, Monarch, Daffodil, Katydid, Vintage Glass, Glacier, Dewdrop, Sapphire, Pixie, and Mixed Berry.

I chose to use sequins on each star to add a bit of sparkle, texture, and interest. Hopefully the kids will find this as fun as I do!

My second project today is a big one. I have wanted a felt holiday countdown calendar for quite a long time and the new Monogram Numerals gave me just the push I needed.

I'm not going to lie to you, this project took a lot of time and effort, but in the end I am totally confident it was worth it! I can't wait to use it this holiday season!

I used the Pocket Tag Die for each pocket. I cut them from Arugula, Glacier, Satin Slipper, and Tundra felt. I added the pinked edge using those same colors plus Gecko.

I cut the numbers from Lagoon felt and stitched them to each pocket. I used one of the trees from the Homespun Holiday: Scenic Snow Globes Kit to embellish the final pocket and make it look a little bit extra special.

I sewed all of the pockets to a large sheet of Cardinal wool felt that I just happened to have on hand the final size is 18"x28". I found it easiest to tack all the pocket into place using strips of washi tape and sewing the bottom edges first.

Then I anchored down one end of the calendar under a heavy book to help keep it stable while I did the sides of each pocket. This took...a while.

I used a piece of ecofelt that I've had for ages on the back (I would have preferred wool, but I had this at home and decided to go for it). I used the Accessory Numerals Die to add the date to a Basic Heart shape that I stitched in the center.

The Accessory Numerals digits are a little larger than the Keepsake Dates digits, so they fit the scale of this project nicely.

I am completely hopeless when it comes to machine sewing, so I used a very thin bead of hot glue around the perimeter to adhere the panels together. I used loops of Glacier at the top to attach a wooden dowel for hanging. Then at the bottom, I glued pom pom trim between the panels.

I truly couldn't love this more! The pockets are big enough that I can place small trinkets or candies in them or I can include gift cards for festive family activities (like going to get hot chocolate or choosing a new holiday book at the bookstore). I'm also planning to include little notes for things we do annually (like choosing our Christmas tree or baking cookies).

I am so glad I finally took the leap to tackle this holiday countdown calendar project!

Thank you so much for joining along this week. I will have a little more inspiration to share tomorrow morning along with the gift card winner announcements, so be sure to check back at 9am EDT.

  • My dream project would be to make this gorgeous Advent Calendar and pair it with a similarly gorgeous banner with a Christmas tree. I would love to make some felt objects to place in the advent pockets and then transfer to “hang” on the tree. Oh…the dream!
