An Update and FAQ

Good morning!

Well, it's been a wild weekend. We are completely humbled and so grateful for the response to our release on Friday. We're packing as fast as we can and should have a majority of the orders out by tomorrow. There are a few exceptions and those individuals will be contacted via email (if they haven't been already).

While we've already ordered some of the key components for the kit, there is a preorder open until today at Noon Eastern time. Why preorder when everything is already on the way? Here are the advantages:

  • You secure your kit. No worrying about keeping an eye on the website or blog to make sure you get your copy before it sells out again.
  • You secure your Color Story. There's nothing worse than waiting four weeks for the dies to arrive only to find out that the Color Story you wanted went out of stock before you could checkout. When you preorder, we get a very clear idea of what we need to reorder and prepare and are less likely to experience shortages.
  • Your kit can be prepared ahead for faster shipping. We'll get your kit assembled so that it's ready and waiting when the dies land resulting in a quicker turnaround.

Does this mean that if you don't preorder, you won't get a kit? No, we are going to use the response from the preorder to inform quantity levels and make sure that the restock order we placed was sufficient. Ideally, we would like to have a limited number of the kits still in stock in the store after the preorders are fulfilled. That way, if someone decides to invest in the kit later, they won't be disappointed by a lack of availability.

Other questions we've gotten a lot.

Are the other dies going to be restocked?
Yes, we'll have them back as soon as possible, likely in the 3-5 week range.

Can I preorder the Keepsake Ornaments Kit/Extras Die?
No, the only preorder open right now is for the Cozy Cocoa Kit. The Keepsake Ornaments Kit and the Extras die are on reorder and will be restocked as soon as possible. The Keepsake Ornaments Kit will be available through the end of the year.

How do I get the latest updates?
We will be making stock announcements via our newsletter and here on our blog. If you haven't signed up for our newsletter, we suggest doing so to receive the most up to date information. We're doing our best to communicate as quickly as we have information to share.

  • Received the Botanical Butterfly Detail dies and really like this die except there is only 1 flower die which means if you want 6 flowers on your butterfly you have to run it thru your machine 6 times which is annoying. You put 3 leaves in this set it would have been nice if there were 3 flowers also. I would suggest just charging a little more and add a couple more flower dies.

  • I have sent 2 emails to “customer service” regarding the expected video link associated with the 2023 kit I purchased last week. No response from “customer service “. Also the newsletter sign up is not working.

  • I can’t seem to use the pre-order link either. Also on a side note are the design dies interchangeable with the Keepsake Ornaments Kit? I love that tree and I think it would look fabulous on an ornament!
